Brief introduction: – The Indian Air Force invites unmarried Indian men to appear in recruitment trials of outstanding sportsmen as Agniveervayu (sports) intake 01/2024 under agnipath scheme. Read the full notification for detailed information, application process and eligibility criteria.

Age Limit
- Candidate born between 27 June 2003 to 27 December 2006 (both dates inclusive) are eligible to apply
- In case, a candidate clears all the stages of the Selection Procedure, then the upper age limit as on date of enrolment should be 21 years.
Application Fee
- Examination fee of Rs. 100/- plus taxes as applicable is to be paid online by the candidate while registering for the online examination.
- The payment can be made by Debit Cards/ Credit Cards/Internet Banking through payment gateway. Candidates are advised to follow the instructions/steps given on the payment gateway, and also print/keep transaction details for their records
Qualification
- Science Subjects:-
Candidates should have passed Intermediate/10+2/ Equivalent examination with Mathematics, Physics and English from Education Boards recognized by Central, State and UT with minimum 50% marks in aggregate and 50% marks in English.
OR
Passed Three years Diploma Course in Engineering (Mechanical / Electrical / Electronics / Automobile / Computer Science / Instrumentation Technology / Information Technology) from Central, State and UT recognized Polytechnic institute with 50% marks in aggregate and 50% marks in English in Diploma Course (or in Intermediate/Matriculation, if English is not a subject in Diploma Course).
OR
Passed Two years Vocational Course with non-vocational subject viz. Physics and Mathematics from Education Boards recognized by Central, State and UT with 50% marks in aggregate and 50% marks in English in Vocational Course (or in Intermediate / Matriculation, if English is not a subject in Vocational Course). - Other than Science Subjects:-
Passed Intermediate / 10+2 / Equivalent Examination in any stream/subjects from Education Boards recognized by Central, State and UT with minimum 50% marks in aggregate and 50% marks in English.
OR
Passed two years Vocational Course from Education Boards recognized by Central, State and UT with minimum 50% marks in aggregate and 50% marks in English in Vocational Course (or in Intermediate / Matriculation if English is not a subject in Vocational Course).
Sports Achivement
(a) Individual should have represented the country in Junior/Senior International
competitions recognized by International Olympics committee (IOA) in any of the
sports disciplines mentioned at Para 1.
(b) Individual should have attained the minimum standard of fifth place in the
Junior National competitions, represented the State/Union Territory in Senior
National competitions or All India Inter University competitions or SAI (Khelo
India National) in any of the sports disciplines mentioned at Para 1.
(c) In team events, the individual should have represented state in Junior/ Senior National competitions conducted by respective Sports Federations or All India Inter University Championship or SAI (Khelo India National) in any of the sports disciplines mentioned at Para 1.
(d) FOR CRICKET DISCIPLINE ONLY. – Candidates who have played All India
Inter-University or BCCI Trophies – U-19, U-23, Ranji Trophy, Duleep Trophy,
Deodhar Trophy or higher participation are only eligible to apply.
Note:- Sports certificates issued by federations/Association approved by Indian
Olympic Association (IOA)/ Khelo India National (SAI)/ Association of Indian
University OR certificate issued by University for participation in All India Inter
University competitions shall only be considered. The current achievement would be given preference during selection trials. IOA recognized federations can be ascertained from official website of IOA (https://olympic.ind.in).

AGNIVEERVAYU (SPORTS) (Indian Airforce Agniveervayu Intake 01/2024) will be given one time ‘Seva Nidhi’ package comprising their monthly contribution along with matching contribution by the Government on completion of their engagement period, as indicated below: –
