Brief Introduction: –The Uranium Corporation of India Limited (UCIL) invites applications from Ex-ITI (NCVT) candidates for Trade Apprenticeship Training under the Apprentices Act, 1961 and Apprenticeship Rules, 1992. UCIL offers a total of 228 vacancies across various trades for its units in the Jharkhand region. This opportunity aims to provide skill development and hands-on training to eligible candidates. Note:- Unit wise Vacancy for Jaduguda Unit – 100 Nos, Narwapahar Unit – 48 Nos. & Turamdih Unit – 80 Nos.
Reservation of vacancies:-
- SC/ST/OBC (NCL)/EWS : Vacancies for SC/ST, EWS & OBC (NCL) candidates are reserved in accordance with Section 3A(1) & (2) and Section 3B (1) & (2) both of Chapter II of Apprentices Act-1961 read with Schedule II A of Rule 5 of Apprenticeship Rules 1992.
- For Physically Handicapped: 3% of vacancies for Apprenticeship training are reserved in accordance with Section 3.6.2 Chapter II of Apprenticeship Training Manual.
Qualification
Matric/Std. X pass and ITI pass in relevant Trade from NCVT (National Council for Vocational Training).
Candidates holding ITI mark sheet/certificate can only apply. Those candidates awaiting their mark sheet/certificates are NOT eligible to apply for the above apprentice training.
Age Limit
Minimum 18 years and Maximum 25 years as on 03.01.2025.
Relaxation in upper age limits to SC, ST, OBC (NCL), PwBD & others applicable categories shall be as per Government of India guidelines.
Application Fee
- For All Candidates – Nil
Training Period & Stipend
The minimum rate of stipend per month payable to apprentices shall be followed [Rule 11 of Apprenticeship Rules, 1992 is relevant].
No TA/DA or accommodation shall be given to the candidate called for verification of certificates or coming to the place of training.
Selection Procedure
Selection of the candidates will be on merit basis i.e. on the basis of percentage of marks obtained in ITI.
The result shall be published on our UCIL website www.uraniumcorp.in No correspondence in this regard shall be made. Candidates are requested to visit UCIL website for publication of result. The selected candidates shall be informed through their registered email ID.
How To Apply
For registration visit Govt. portal website https://apprenticeshipindia.gov.in/.
- Candidate must click on the Registration Tab for registering themselves for Apprenticeship Training, after registration a confirmation e-mail will be sent to the registered e-mail address of the candidate. The candidate has to click on the link provided in the e-mail for activation (example: – Registration Number-A000000000) and thereafter the candidate has to login and complete his profile for confirmation of registration. The applicant should apply in online mode through official website of apprenticeship portal https://apprenticeshipindia.gov.in/ with the following documents to be uploaded:-
Matriculation Cert. & Mark Sheet and Final ITI Cert. & Mark sheet.
Caste Certificate [for SC/ST/OBC (NCL) only].
Certificate applicable for EWS candidates.
Medical Certificate applicable for physically handicapped only.
Photo and signature.
Aadhaar Card & Pan Card.
Aadhaar card linked bank account.
Land Acquisition Certificate for Land Displaced Person /Aadhaar Card for Project affected family and UCIL ID card of employee for Employee son.
Applications received after the expiry of the due date 02.02.2025 shall not be considered for further scrutiny.
