Brief Introduction :-Odisha Power Transmission Corporation Limited (OPTCL), invites applications from young and meritorious aspirants for engagement of Graduate, Technician (Diploma) and Trade (ITI) Apprentices for one year. Selection will be made on the basis of Academic merit / Written Test /interview as required. (Under The Apprentices Act 1961 as amended in 1961, 1973 & 2014). - Indian Nationals belonging to the state of Odisha are only eligible to apply.
- Candidates who have completed Apprenticeship training as per Apprentices Act 1961 or job experience for a period of one year or more shall not be eligible to apply.
- The period of apprenticeship training shall be one year i.e. 12 Months.
- The gap between the date of joining in Apprenticeship Training and passing date of essential qualifying examination for Apprentices should not be more than 3 years and passed during Academic Year 2020-2021, 2021-2022, 2022-23 & 2023-24.

- The prescribed qualification shall be from a recognized Board / Council / University / Institute as a regular full-time
- For Non-Engineering Apprentices- HR discipline, graduation in non-engineering.
- The candidate should have the passing certificate / final year mark sheet of the required qualification as on 01.01.2024.
- Disciplines like BA, BSC, BCOM, BBA, or equivalent shall be preferred.
Age Limit
- Candidate should not be less than 18 years of age as on 01.01.2024. Maximum age limit will be applied as per the Apprentices Act 1961 as amended in 1961, 1973 & 2014.
- Relaxation in upper age limit for categories like SC/ST/OBC/PWBD etc. as per rule.
Application Fee
- Application fee – Nil
Stipend
- For Graduate Apprentice Trainees:- Rs. 9000/- (Rupees Nine Thousand only per Month).
- For Diploma Apprentice Trainees:- Rs. 8000/- (Rupees Eight Thousand only per Month).
- For ITI Trade Apprentice Trainees:- Rs. 7700/- (Rupees Seven Thousand Seven Hundred only per Month).
Procedure for Submission of Application
a) Candidates should first register themselves (as a candidate) on NAPS / NATS portal.
- Degree HR, Accounts / Finance, Law and ITI Trade apprentices need to register themselves at NAPS portal i.e. https://apprenticeshipindia.gov.in
- The Degree Electrical, Degree IT, Degree Telecomm and Diploma Electrical, Diploma Telecomm apprentice aspirants need to register themselves at NATS 2.0 portal i.e. https://nats.education.gov.in/
b) After getting the registration / enrolment number, they should apply on the OPTCL website https://careers.optcl.co.in/
