Qualification
Minimum Educational Qualification:
- For Engineering Graduate Apprentices:
- A Degree in Engineering or Technology granted by a Statutory University in relevant discipline.
Or
- A Degree in Engineering or Technology granted by an Institution empowered to grant such degree by an Act of Parliament in relevant discipline.
Or
- Graduate examination of Professional bodies recognized by the State Government or Central Government as equivalent to above.
2. For General Graduate Apprentices:
- The degree in B. B. A., B. Com, B. C. A. & B.S.W. granted by a statutory university in relevant discipline / or by an institution empowered to grant such degree by an act of parliament in relevant discipline / graduate examination of professional bodies recognized by the state government or central government as equivalent to above.
3. For Diploma Apprentices:
- A Diploma in Engineering or technology granted by a State Council or Board of Technical Education established by a State Government in relevant discipline.
Or
- A Diploma in Engineering or Technology granted by an recognized University in relevant discipline.
Or
- A Diploma in Engineering or Technology granted by an institution recognized by State Government or Central Government as equivalent to above.
Note:- Diploma / General Graduate / Engineering Graduate Candidate passed their Diploma / Degree course recognized by AICTE or GOI, in or after 01 April 2020 are eligible to apply.

Age relaxation by 5 yrs. for SC/ST, 3 yrs. for OBC-NCL and 10 yrs. for physically challenged.

Training & Stipend
- For Graduate Apprentices:- Rs.9,000/- i.e. 4500 (MDL Share) + 4500 (Govt. Share through DBT*)
- For Diploma Apprentices:- Rs.8,000/- i.e. 4000 (MDL Share) + 4000 (Govt. Share through DBT*)
The duration of Apprenticeship training will be for a period of one year as per Apprentices (Amendment) Act 1973.
