Brief Introduction:- Indian Oil Corporation Limited (IOCL), the largest commercial enterprise in India and a Fortune “Global 500” Company, as a measure of Skill Building Initiative for the Nation, proposes to engage Apprentices in Technical and Non-Technical Trades at its locations under its 5 Regions viz Eastern Region Pipelines (ERPL), Western Region Pipelines (WRPL), Northern Region Pipelines (NRPL), Southern Region Pipelines (SRPL) and South Eastern Region Pipelines (SERPL). Applications are invited from eligible Indian Nationals meeting the following qualification & other parameters for engagement of around 457 Apprentices under The Apprentices Act, 1961 (as amended from time to time) in the Trades as mentioned below: –

Additionally, candidates should possess Skill Certificate of ‘Domestic Data Entry Operator’ for training of less than one year issued by an awarding body recognized under National Skill Qualifications Framework or any other authority recognized by the Central Govt. |
Age Limit
Minimum 18 years and Maximum 24 years as on 28.02.2025 for General Candidates. (Upper age limit is relaxable by 5 years for SC/ST, 3 years for OBC (NCL) & 10 years for PwBD (minimum 40% disability candidates).

Stipend
Rate of stipend payable to apprentices per month shall be as prescribed under Apprentices Act, 1961/1973, Apprentices Rules 1992/2019 as amended from time to time and Corporation’s guidelines.

- Candidates willing to apply against the advertisement must register as a Technician/Trade/Graduate Apprentice online in the following portals under the respective State as per their Trades below: –
- Trade Apprentice: Data Entry Operator (Fresher Apprentices)/Domestic Data Entry Operator (Skill Certificate Holders) at https://www.apprenticeshipindia.gov.in.
- Technician Apprentice: (Mechanical/Electrical/Telecommunication & Instrumentation) at https://nats.education.gov.in/student_register.php
- Trade Apprentice (Assistant-Human Resource/Accountant) at https://nats.education.gov.in/student_register.php
2. Candidates meeting the prescribed eligibility criteria may LOGIN to the respective NATS/NAPS Portal using their User ID/Email ID and APPLY for the apprenticeship Openings/Opportunities with the Establishment ID of Indian Oil Corporation Limited which is mentioned below:-
- Candidates must complete the application for Openings/Opportunities in respective NATS/NAPS Portal from 10.02.2025 to 03.03.2025. Before applying against an opportunity, the candidate MUST ensure that their profile (Personal details, educational details, Category etc.) along with aggregate percentage are appearing correctly in their application. Selection Procedure
Panel cum Merit List of all the candidates, who have applied against a respective post in the portal and meeting the notified eligibility criteria, shall be prepared based on the percentage of marks in descending order (aggregate of marks of all subjects of all years/semesters will be considered for eligibility) obtained in the essential qualification applicable to the trade applied for.
