Brief Introduction :- Nuclear Power Corporation of India Limited (NPCIL) invite application from eligible candidates in the designated trades/disciplines for engagement of Trade Apprentices, Diploma Apprentices and Graduate Apprentices in NPCIL, Kakrapar Gujarat Site under the Apprentices Act-1961 and amendments made there under. Qualification
- ITI Trade Apprentice:- Full- time/Regular ITI Pass Certificate in respective Trade.
- Diploma Apprentice:- Full- time/Regular Diploma Pass Certificate in engineering or technology granted by a State Council or Board of Technical Educational
established by a State Government/ by a University/ by an Institute recognized by the State or Central Government as equivalent to a diploma in respective Discipline. - Graduate Apprentice:- Full- time/Regular Graduate Degree in engineering/ technology streams or general streams such as BA, B.Sc., B.Com. etc. including sandwich courses granted by a College / University recognized by AICTE/ UGC/ State Government/ Central Government.
Note:- The cut-off date for reckoning age limit, qualification etc. would be closing date prescribed for submitting application i.e 21/01/2025.
Age Limit
- ITI Trade Apprentice:- Minimum age 18 years and maximum 24 years as on 21/01/2025.
- Diploma Apprentice:- Minimum age 18 years and maximum 25 years as on 21/01/2025.
- Graduate Apprentice:- Minimum age 18 years and maximum 26 years as on 21/01/2025.
Note:- Relaxation in maximum age upto 5 years for SC/ST candidates, 3 years for OBC (Non creamy layer) candidates and 10 years for PwBD category candidates as per Government of India Orders.
Application Fee
- For All Candidates – Nil
Stipend
- ITI Trade Apprentice:- Rs. 7700/- (for those who have been engaged after one year of ITI course). & Rs. 8050/- (for those who have been engaged after two years of ITI course).
- Diploma Apprentice:- Rs. 8000/-
- Graduate Apprentice:- Rs. 9000/-
Note :- No hostel / transport facility shall be provided to the selected candidates for apprenticeship.
Place of Training
- The place of training shall be Nuclear Power Corporation of India Limited, Kakrapar Gujarat Site, PO Anumala, Dist Tapi, Gujarat-394651.
- The period of Apprenticeship Training will be for maximum One Year.
Selection Procedure
- Preference will be given to the applicants belonging to neighbouring villages (within 16 kms radius) around the Plant Site. In case, all the given trades/ disciplines are not filled/met by the applicants belonging to neighbouring villages, merit list will be prepared based on the marks obtained in that particular trade/ discipline for selection from other applicants who do not belong to the neighbouring villages.
- The candidates will be selected for training on the basis of marks obtained in
their ITI/Diploma/Graduation course.
How to Apply
Interested candidates who fulfill the eligibility criteria should first register themselves (as a candidate) on National Apprenticeship Promotion Scheme 2.0 (NAPS 2.0) / National Apprenticeship Training Scheme 2.0 (NATS 2.0) portal as given below:
Step:- 1
- For ITI Trade Apprentice:- The trade apprentices need to register themselves at National Apprenticeship Promotion Scheme 2.0 (NAPS 2.0) portal “https://www.apprenticeshipindia.gov.in”.
- For Diploma & Graduate Apprentice:- The Graduate Apprentice and Diploma Apprentice need to register themselves at National Apprenticeship Training Scheme 2.0 (NATS 2.0) portal “https://www.nats.education.gov.in/”.

- After registration candidates should submit duly filled application in the prescribed format with all the necessary documents on or before the above mentioned closing date i.e. 21.01.2025 on below mentioned address:-
