- Duration of Apprenticeship training will be 1 year.
- Reservation of seats for SC/ST/OBC (NCL) and EWS as per the provision of Apprenticeship Act, 1961 and guidelines issued by Government in this regard.
Qualification
For Graduates Seats:- Graduate Engineers/ B.tech in respective Discipline (04 Year course from AICTE Approved Institute through Regular Mode).
For Diploma Seats:- Diploma Engineering in respective Discipline (03 Year course from AICTE Approved Institute through Regular Mode).
Note:-
- The Applicant who have already completed 5 years, after having passed the qualifying Degree/Diploma as on 01.04.2024 are not eligible to apply under this notification.
- Who have acquired prior training/experience for more than one year as on 01.04.2024 are also not eligible to apply.
- Candidate who have already completed their apprenticeship training or terminated their apprenticeship training mid-way or pursuing apprenticeship in any other organization or any other units of NHPC are not eligible.
Age Limit
- 18-30 years (Relaxation for SC/ST/OBC-NCL will be as per the Government Directives).

Stipend
- A monthly stipend of Rs. 9000/- shall be given to the Graduate Apprentice Trainees
and Rs. 8000/- shall be given to the Diploma Apprentice Trainees during their one year Apprenticeship at Baira Siul Power Station as per norms of Apprenticeship Act, 1961 and guidelines of Ministry of Skill Development as per Apprentice Act and/or Notification of Ministry of Skill Development and Entrepreneurship, Govt of India, New Delhi, as amended from time to time.
How to Apply
- The Candidate must go through the terms & conditions as mentioned in the notification.
- The candidate must have a valid mobile number & E-Mail ID before applying for apprenticeship. The eligible candidates should register themselves on Apprenticeship portal at www.nats.education.gov.in and apply through the portal. The Registration number, generated in the portal should be mentioned in the relevant column of Apprenticeship Application form of Baira Siul Power Station.
- The candidate has to take print out of Apprenticeship Application form and send along with Passport size photograph, all the self-attested certificates of Educational qualification, B.Tech./Diploma marksheet & certificate, Domicile certificate, Caste Certificate, copy of Adhaar card, PAN card etc. to the below mentioned address by Speed Post/Registered Post/ by Hand within 15 days of Notification

- After Apply on NATS Portal The candidate has to take print out of Apprenticeship Application form and send along with Passport size photograph, all the self-attested certificates of Educational qualification, B.Tech./Diploma marksheet & certificate, Domicile certificate, Caste Certificate, copy of Adhaar card, PAN card etc. to the below mentioned address by Speed Post/Registered Post/ by Hand

Selection Procedure
a) The eligible and shortlisted candidates will be issued call letter through mail for
interview intimating date/time and venue. Selection of candidates will be made on the basis of the percentage of marks obtained in the prescribed qualification applicable to the respective trade, performance in the Personal Interview and successful verification of their documents.
b) The weightage to Educational Qualification, Technical Qualification and Personal
Interview shall be 20%,40% and 40% respectively for final selection.
c) The selected candidates are required to submit a Medical Fitness Certificate issued by District Civil Surgeon or equivalent authority before engagement as Apprentice Trainee, as per the Apprentice Act, 1961.
d) No TA/DA shall be paid for Personal Interview/verification of documents.
