Qualification
- The candidate must have passed Matric/10th class examination or its equivalent (under 10+2 examination system) with minimum 50% marks in aggregate, from recognized Board and ITI in relevant trade (i.e National Trade Certificate in the notified trade issued by National Council for Vocational Training or Provisional Certificate issued by National Council for Vocational Training/State Council for Vocational Training).
Age Limit
- Minimum 15 years and maximum 24 years as on 01.01.2025
- (Relaxation of 5 years for SC/ST i.e. up to a max of 29 yrs., 3 years for OBC-NCL i.e.up to a max of 27 yrs., for the posts reserved for them).
- Candidates belonging to PwBD categories shall be given age relaxation up to 10 years (up to 15 years for SC/ST) and up to 13 years for OBC-NCL candidates.
Application Fee
- Application fees (Non-refundable) – Rs. 100/-
- Fee payment will have to be made online through payment gateway as part of online application process.
Stipend
Training will be arranged in accordance with the standards and syllabus prescribed by the Central Apprenticeship Council. The selected candidates will be paid stipend during Apprenticeship at the applicable rates as per extant instructions. Rates are liable to change as per rules and directions issued by Railway Board time to time.
No Hostel accommodation will be provided and selected candidates will have to make their own arrangement during their training as per Apprentices Act’1961 and they will be released on completion of the training.

- DATE OF OPENING OF ONLINE APPLICATION: 25th January 2025 Onwards.
- LAST DATE OF SUBMISSION OF ONLINE APPLICATION: 14th February 2025 up to 23:59 hrs.

Selection Procedure
- Selection for Apprenticeship training will be on the basis of merit list prepared in respect of all the candidates who apply against the notification for a particular Division/Unit. The merit list will be prepared taking the average of the %age marks obtained by the candidates in both Matriculation with minimum 50% (aggregate marks) and ITI examination giving equal weightage to both.
